Alone In Kyoto

Hello blog world. I was watching the television the other day and was enraged to see yet another song I enjoy had been sold/taken out of context, and was used to promote something so meaningless; in this case the new Samsung Galaxy Mobile. The song heard in the commercial is, "Alone In Kyoto," off of the album Talkie Walkie by the French electronic band, Air. As I feel it is my duty to "uncheapen" the song, I have provided the youtube still-imaged video of the song below. Enjoy.

Paranoid Android - Collaborative Cover

This is a video that was put together from different takes of Radiohead's "Paranoid Android." Many people chose to cover the song and post it on YouTube; this is the outcome.

Gorillaz - "Do Ya Thing" ft. Andre 3000 and James Murphy

Thanks to the folks over at Pitchfork.com, the news has leaked that Gorillaz have teamed up with Andre 3000 of Outkast and James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem for their track "Do Ya Thing." The track will be a feature in an upcoming Converse commercial.
